In addition to the physical gas supply, Equinor will transfer guarantees of origin, referred to as “sustainability qualities,” via the Attributes SAS platform. He stated that natural gas remains a necessary component of the energy mix in the transition period and that sourcing gas with lowest emissions available aligns with Eneco’s sustainability commitments.
