UWM Holdings Corporation was incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware on June 12, 2019 and is principally engaged in the joint wholesale mortgage business. UWM is engaged in the origination, sale and servicing of residential mortgages. UWM is headquartered in Michigan, but lends and provides services throughout the United States. UWM is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a Class II, unsupervised direct endorsement mortgage lender. In addition, UWM is an accredited issuer of the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae) and an accredited seller and servicer of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac).
