Founded in 1950 under the laws of Massachusetts, Unifirst Corporation and its subsidiaries are among the largest suppliers of work clothes and protective work clothes in the United States. The company designs, manufactures, personalizes, rents, cleans, delivers and sells a variety of uniforms and protective clothing, including shirts, pants, jackets, work clothes, lab coats, work clothes, aprons and specialized protective clothing, such as flame-resistant and high-visibility clothing. The company also rents and sells industrial wipe products, floor mats, facility service products and other non-clothing items, and provides restroom and cleaning supplies, first aid cabinet services and other safety supplies, as well as certain safety training to various manufacturers, retailers and service companies. The company's main services include providing customers with uniforms and other non-clothing items, regular (usually weekly) collection of dirty uniforms or other items, and delivery of cleaned and processed items.
