UGI is a holding company that distributes, stores, transports and markets energy products and related services through subsidiaries and affiliates. In the United States, the Company owns and operates (1) propane retail marketing and distribution businesses, (2) natural gas and distribution utilities, and (3) energy marketing, midstream infrastructure, storage, natural gas gathering and processing, natural gas production, power generation and energy services businesses. In Europe, the company markets and distributes propane and other liquefied petroleum gas, and markets other energy products and services.
