CVR Partners, Lp is a Delaware limited partnership formed by CVR Energy in June 2007 to own Coffeyville Resources Nitrogen Fertilizers Ltd. (which was previously a wholly owned subsidiary of CVR Energy). CRNF is an independent manufacturer and marketer of upgraded nitrogen fertilizer products in North America. CRNF operates a dual-train coke gasification base that produces high-purity hydrogen, most of which was later converted to ammonia and upgraded to ammonium nitrate.
CRNF produces and distributes nitrogen fertilizer products, which are mainly used by farmers to improve the yield and quality of crops. The main products of CRNF are ammonia and ammonium nitrate. These products are produced at its production sites in Coffeyville, Kansas. CRNF's product sales focus is mainly on ammonium nitrate, and all its products are sold wholesale.
