Texas Pacific Land Corporation is one of the largest landowners in Texas, with approximately 873,000 acres. TPL Trust was established pursuant to a declaration of trust dated February 1, 1888 to receive and own title to a substantial amount of land that was formerly the property of the Texas and Pacific Railroad. The company operates in two areas: land and resource management and water services and operations. The Company's surface ownership and royalties generate stable revenue throughout the oil and gas development value chain. Although the company is not an oil and gas producer, it benefits from a variety of revenue streams throughout the life of the well.
