Toll Brothers, Inc., incorporated in Delaware in May 1986, began doing business as a predecessor entity in 1967. The Company designs, builds, markets, sells and arranges financing for a series of luxury single-family homes, attached residences, master-planned resort-style golf and urban low-, medium- and high-rise communities, mainly on land developed and improved by the Company, as the Company continues to pursue the Company's strategy of broadening the Company's product line, price point and geographic footprint. The company caters to first-time, upgraded, empty-nest, active adult, affordable luxury and second-home buyers (" traditional residential building products ") in the United States, as well as urban and suburban renters. The Company also designs, builds, markets and sells high-density, high-rise urban luxury apartments through Thor Brothers Citylife (" Citylife ") with third-party joint venture partners.
