Textainer Group Holdings Limited was established on December 3, 1993. The company is an exempted company incorporated under the laws of Bermuda. In terms of fleet size, the company is one of the largest intermodal container leasers in the world, with a total fleet of approximately 2.7 million containers, equivalent to 4.4 million TEUs. The company leases containers to about 200 shipping companies and other charterers, including all the world's leading international shipping companies, as measured by the total TEU capacity of its container ships.
