Sun Communities, Inc., an integrated real estate company, since 1975, together with affiliates and its predecessors, has been engaged in the acquisition, operation, development and expansion of mobile home and recreational vehicle communities. The company leases small plots of land for customers' living quarters and recreational vehicles. The Company also, through its taxable subsidiary, Sun Home Services, a Michigan corporation, is engaged in the promotion, sale, and leasing of new or used residences to current and future residents in the Company's community. The operation of SHS provides support for improving occupancy, performance and cash flow. The Company owns, operates and develops and manufactures housing and RV communities primarily in the Midwest, South and Southeast United States.
