SPX Technologies, Inc., was founded in Muskegon, Michigan in 1912 as the Piston Ring Company and changed its name to its current name in 1988. The Company has been incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware since 1968 and has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 1972. SPX is a diversified global supplier of highly specialized engineering solutions for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and inspection and measurement markets. The company offers a wide range of HVAC solutions, including cooling products and air flow solutions for a variety of industrial, institutional and commercial applications. In addition, SPX provides detection and measurement products to support utilities and telecommunications operators as well as municipalities in maintaining critical infrastructure. The company operates through two major business units: HVAC and testing and measurement, and serves a diverse customer base with its rich experience and innovative technology.
