NuScale Power Corporation was incorporated as a Cayman Islands exempted company on August 20, 2020. The company is redefining nuclear energy by developing proprietary and innovative SMR technology that will deliver safe, scalable, cost-effective and reliable carbon-free electricity. Their core technology, NuScale Power Module (" NPM "), can generate 77 MWe of electricity and is premised on sound nuclear technology principles, focusing on component integration, system simplification or elimination, and the use of passive safety features. This makes the power plant safe and reliable, suitable for close proximity to places that require electricity or process heat. Their flagship VOYGRTM (" VOYGR ") power plant is a scalable power plant design with up to 12 NPMs and a total generating capacity of 924 MWe.
