The San Juan Basin Royalty Trust is an indenture of the Sanland Basin Royalty Trust dated November 1, 1980, pursuant to the laws of the State of Texas, Definitive Trust by and between Southland Royalty Company (" Southland ") and Fort Worth National Bank. Effective December 12, 2007, following several revisions and restatements of the original covenants from September 30, 2002. As a result of a series of mergers and other transactions, the current trustee of the trust is Compass Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A.
