The most populous state in Brazil and the state with the highest gross domestic product (GDP) in Brazil, according to IBGE, also provides water or sewage services to four other cities through special purpose companies. In addition, in cooperation with Latin Consulting, it provides consulting services on rational water use and business and operational management in Panama and Honduras.
