The company operates a common human experience platform (i.e. Platform or Roblox Platform) on which users interact, explore and develop immersive, user-generated, 3-D experiences. When registering with Roblox, users personalize their unique Roblox identity or avatar. Users are then free to immerse themselves in the experience on Roblox and can experience specific enhancements or avatar items in their avatar market using virtual currency (Robux). Any user can be a developer or creator on their platform. Developers build published experiences on Roblox and can earn Robux through micro-transactions in the experience, participation-based payments, and selling virtual items in the Roblox virtual economy.
