Rite Aid Corporation is the third largest retail pharmacy company in the United States in terms of total revenue and number of stores operated. As of February 28, 2015, the company has opened 4,570 retail pharmacies in 31 states and the District of Columbia. The company's retail pharmacies sell prescription drugs and a variety of other products. The Company believes that the pharmaceutical business will continue to account for a significant portion of its business due to favorable market trends, including increased longevity; expected growth in Federated Hermes in the Medicare Part IV prescription program, which was started by the "baby boomers"; and due to the Patient Protection and Payable Act, With the expansion of health insurance coverage for Americans without health insurance; and the discovery of new and better drug therapies, Lai De Ai was incorporated in Delaware in 1968.
