Sprott Physical Silver Trust was established on June 30, 2010 under the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. The trust was set up to invest almost all of its assets and hold physical silver bullion. The trust seeks to provide a safe, convenient and exchange-traded investment option for investors interested in holding physical silver bars without the typical inconvenience of investing directly in physical silver bars. The trust plans to invest primarily in long-term held unencumbered, fully distributed physical silver bars and will not speculate on short-term changes in silver prices.
