PHX Minerals Inc., was founded in 1926 in Range, Texas County, Oklahoma as a Panhandle Cooperative Royalty Company. Until 1979 when the company merged into Panhandle Royalty Company and its shares were publicly listed as a cooperative enterprise. The company's main business is the exploration, development, production and sale of oil, liquefied natural gas and natural gas. The Company's operating results are primarily dependent on: reserves and exploration and development costs associated with finding new reserves; production volume and associated production costs; and prices for oil, LNG and natural gas sales. The Company is involved in the acquisition, management and development of non-operating oil and gas assets, including mineral and leasehold acreage wells located in the Company. Panhandle's mineral and rental properties are located primarily in Arkansas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas and properties located in several other states. Most of the company's oil, LNG and natural gas production comes from wells in Oklahoma.
