Oceaneering International, Inc., is a global oilfield engineering service and product provider focusing on the offshore oil and deep-sea natural gas industries. Through the use of the company's applied technical knowledge, the company also serves the defense and aerospace industries. The company's oilfield business consists of remotely operated devices, subsea products, subsea projects and assets. The Company's remotely operated units support submersible vehicles for offshore oil and gas exploration, development and production activities. The company's subsea products department supplies a variety of specialized subsea equipment. The company's subsea engineering department provides multi-operation vessels, deep-sea oilfield drilling, diving support vessels mainly used for inspection, maintenance and installation activities, and mobile production systems. The company was founded in Delaware in 1969 as a result of the merger of three dive service companies.
