Nuveen Municipal Credit Opportunities Fund is a new organization registered under the 1940 Act, a diversified, closed-end management investment company. According to the Declaration of Trust (the "Declaration of Trust "), the Fund was organized as a Massachusetts Business Trust on April 18, 2019, which is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As a newly organized entity, the fund has no operating history. The fund's primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income that is exempt from regular U.S. federal income tax. The fund's secondary investment objective is to seek total return.
