NACCO Industries, Inc., was incorporated as a Delaware corporation in 1986. The Company operates through three reportable business segments: the utility coal mining segment, which manages open pit mines as a long-term fuel supplier; the contract mining segment, which provides specialized mining services; and the minerals and royalties segment, which acquires and develops mineral interests. It also engages in environmental compensation and energy development through other complementary businesses.
