Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Materion Corporation is a comprehensive enterprise integrating the production of high-performance advanced engineering materials, which are widely used in electrical, electronic, thermal and structural fields. Its products are sold to numerous end markets, including semiconductor, industrial, aerospace and defense, automotive, energy, consumer electronics and life sciences industries. The company has four reportable divisions: high performance materials, electronic materials, precision optics and others. High Performance Materials provides advanced engineering solutions, including beryllium-containing and beryllium-free alloy systems and custom engineered metal solutions. Electronic Materials produces advanced chemicals, microelectronic packaging, precious metals, non-precious metals and specialty metal products, including vapor deposition targets, frame cover assemblies, cladding layers and precious metal preforms, as well as high temperature brazing materials. Precision Optics is a designer and manufacturer of advanced optical components including precision thin film coatings, optical filters and components.
