Arcelormittal was founded in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on June 8, 2001. ArcelorMittal is one of the world's leading integrated steel and mining companies. ArcelorMittal is the largest steel producer in Europe and one of the largest in the Americas, the second largest in Africa and the sixth largest in the CIS region. ArcelorMittal's operations in Asia are small but expanding. ArcelorMittal has steelmaking operations in 16 countries, including 37 integrated and small steel mills. Specifically, ArcelorMittal produces products including plates and sheets, as well as long products, including bars, bars and structural shapes. It also produces tubes and tubes for various purposes.
