The company is an independent oil producer located in southern Texas, and its production is gradually and steadily increasing. It was formerly a blank check company. Magnolia combines the businesses of EnerVest's South Texas division and TPG Pace Energy, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed by Chairman And Chief Executive Officer Steve Chazen and TPG Capital.
