Mainly engaged in the business of investing in residential institutional MBS and non-institutional MBS on a leveraged basis. The Company's main business objective is to generate net income for distribution to the Company's shareholders due to the difference between the interest and income earned by the Company from the Company's investments and the interest expense paid by the Company for borrowings used to fund the Company's leveraged investments and the Company's operating costs.
