Kosmos Energy Ltd., established by Bermuda law, became the parent company of Kosmos Energy Holding Group in January 2011. On November 26, 2018, Kosmos Energy Limited has elected to discontinue production from Bermuda and resettle in Delaware (" Renamed "). Cosmos Energy Holding Group was legally established as a trade guarantee company in the Cayman Islands in March 2004. At the same time, the company's stock offering was stopped and replaced by a new public offering of Cosmos Energy, as required by the terms of the contract. As a result, Cosmos Energy Holding Group became a wholly owned subsidiary of Cosmos Energy. Cosmos Energy is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company in Africa and South America with a strong focus on frontier and emerging sectors. The company's asset portfolio includes existing products and offshore developments in Ghana, Mauritania, Morocco, Suriname, and onshore Cameroon.
