Intrepid Potash, Inc., a diversified mineral company, supplies potassium, magnesium, sulfur, salt and aquatic products that are critical to the success of its clients in agriculture, animal feed and the oil and gas industry. The company is the only producer of potash (sometimes called potassium chloride or potash) in the United States, which is used as an essential nutrient for healthy crop growth and as an ingredient in animal feed in a variety of industrial applications. In addition, the company produces Trio, a specialty fertilizer that provides three key nutrients, potassium, magnesium and sulfate, in a single particle. The company also provides water, magnesium chloride, brine and a variety of oilfield products and services.
