Independence Contract Drilling, Inc., was incorporated in Delaware on November 4, 2011. The Company provides onshore drilling contracting services for unconventional resources to oil and gas producers in the United States. The company builds, owns and operates a high-quality fleet, all of which are newly built, technologically advanced and custom-designed ShaleDrille drilling rigs. It is specially designed for the company's customers to optimize the engineering design with high requirements for oil and gas drilling technology. All of the Company's current rig operating platforms are in the Permian Basin, but the Company's rigs are already operating in the Midland Region and before the Eagle Beach Shale. The company focuses on operational excellence and safety to create value for shareholders and customers. The Company believes that its strategic positioning is to use the current land rig replacement cycle as a legacy fleet to upgrade to premium rigs. The company believes that this will be able to expand the company's fleet and increase the company's business growth due to high-quality rig services.
