Western Asset High Yield Opportunity Fund Inc., was incorporated in Maryland on July 20, 2010 and is a non-diversified, limited term, closed-end management investment company under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended (the "1940 Act "). The fund's main investment objective is to provide high income. As a secondary investment objective, the fund will seek capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its net assets in a portfolio of high-yield corporate fixed-income securities with different maturities under normal market conditions.
