Global Medical Reit Inc., incorporated in Nevada on March 18, 2011 under the name Scoop Media, Inc., The company was acquired by Hong Kong company ZH International Holdings Ltd. (formerly known as Heng Fai Enterprises, Ltd.) in 2013. The company changed its name to its current name on January 6, 2014, and became a Maryland company.
The company is engaged in the business of acquiring licensed medical institutions and real estate assets. The Company focuses on acquiring leading market share d hospitals and leading clinical operators. The Company's current portfolio includes 12 medical facilities, six of which are leased to the same tenant operator in eight countries, with approximately 244,329 square feet available for lease, 100% as of March 31, 2016.
