EATON VANCE SENIOR FLOATING-RATE TRUST is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust provides investors with the opportunity to obtain a high level of current income through a professional investment portfolio and invests primarily in senior secured floating rate loans (" Senior Loans "), which are generally reserved for financial institutions and large enterprises and institutions. To the extent that this goal is met, trusts can also provide opportunities to protect capital. Investments are based on internal research and ongoing credit analysis by Eaton Vance Management (" Eaton Vance "or" Advisors ") and are generally not available to individual investors.
