Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp. was incorporated as a company under the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands on April 30, 2018. Okeanis Eco Tankers is an international tanker owner and operator with a modern, energy-saving and environmentally friendly tanker fleet focusing on crude oil transportation. The fleet consists of modern Suez-type tankers and very large tankers that meet environmental standards, which are equipped with exhaust gas purification systems and comply with ballast water treatment regulations, thereby reducing fuel consumption. The Company holds ships through a combination of direct ownership and finance leases (including bareboat chartering) and has ordered additional new Suez-type tankers to expand its operating capacity.
