Eagle Point Credit Company Inc., formed as Eagle Point Credit Company LLC on March 24, 2014, is a Delaware limited liability company that transformed into a Delaware limited liability company on October 6, 2014. The primary investment objective is to generate high current income, followed by generating capital appreciation. They attempt to achieve their investment objectives by investing primarily in stocks and subordinated bonds in CLOs, which are collateralized by a portfolio consisting primarily of below-investment-grade U.S. senior secured loans with a large number of different underlying borrowers from different industries. They also invest in other relevant securities and instruments or other securities and instruments consistent with their investment objectives, including securities issued by CLO's senior debt rating, loan accumulation arrangements and other securitized instruments (such as credit-linked notes and CBOs).
