Easterly Government Properties, Inc. was established on October 9, 2014 as a Maryland real estate investment trust, a newly formed and internally managed company. The Company plans to become a Caretrust Reit, or REIT, primarily focused on Class A commercial properties that are leased to U.S. government agencies for acquisition, development and management. Focusing on the mission of acquiring, developing and managing GSA-the supporting tenant agencies necessary for rental properties, the company strives to be the preferred partner of the U.S. government, working closely with GSA to meet the needs of tenant agencies.
