Central Pacific Financial Corp., a Hawaiian company and bank holding company incorporated under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, was organized on February 1, 1982, as amended. The company's main business is as a holding company, serving its banking subsidiary, Central Pacific Bank. Central Pacific Bank merged with its current form in the State of Hawaii on March 16, 1982, in connection with the reorganization of the holding company. Its predecessor entity was incorporated in the state of Hawaii on January 15, 1954. The company provides a full range of banking services and products to businesses, professionals and individuals.
