CNA Financial Corporation was established in 1967 as an insurance holding company. In general, CNAF and its affiliates are collectively referred to as CNA or the Company. CNA's property, accident, remaining life cycle and group insurance business is mainly implemented by Continental Airlines Casualty Company (CCC), Continental Insurance Company, Western Guarantee Company and Continental AIA (CAC). The company's core business, corporate property and accident insurance, is embodied in two business units: CCNA Specialty and CNA Commercial. The company's products and services are operated primarily through independent agents, brokers, and general underwriters managing a wide variety of clients, including large, medium and small businesses, associations, experts, and other groups.
