Clearwater Paper Corporation is a leading North American producer of private label tissue and paperboard products. The company produces quality consumer organizations, "far from home" organizations, non-transformed tissue products, machine glaze tissue, bleached paperboard and pulp in a total of 14 manufacturing locations in the United States and Canada. The Company's private label consumer organization products — face and toilet paper, paper towels and napkins — are primarily used at home and are primarily sold to major retailers and wholesalers, including food, pharmaceuticals, mass merchandisers and discount stores. The company's cardboard is in the high-end market of the packaging industry, which requires high-quality construction and printing surface graphics. The company's products are mainly made from wood fiber pulp. On December 27, 2010, the company acquired Cellu Organization Holdings, whose clients include service organization consumer and retailer organizations and financial product distributors in Asia, vertically integrated manufacturers and third-party converter and machine glaze organization divisions. During the fourth quarter of 2012, the company completed the construction of its paper machine and processing facility in Shelby, North Carolina with external answering equipment.
