Central Puerto S.A. was incorporated in Argentina on February 26, 1992. Measured by power generation, it is the largest private power generation company in Argentina. They have a geographically and technologically diversified power generation portfolio with facilities in the city of Buenos Aires and the provinces of Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Neuquen and Rio Negro, using traditional technologies (including hydroelectric power) to generate electricity, and their power generation assets include combined cycle, gas turbine, steam turbine, hydroelectric power and cogeneration.
