The Company's principal business is originating and holding senior mortgage loans through commercial and multi-family real estate mortgages in the United States. The Company is an internally managed Caretrust Reit, also known as a Caretrust Reit, that owns, operates and, to a lesser extent, holds interests in joint ventures that own and operate multi-family residences.
