Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation is a bank holding company under the laws of the State of Virginia and the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, it conducts financial services through its community banking subsidiary Union First Market Bank and three non-bank financial services institutions. The company was established as a result of the merger with Northern Neck Bankshares Corporation and Union Bancorp in July 1993. Union First Market Bank is a full-service community bank that provides its customers and businesses with a range of banking and related financial services, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit and other custody services, as well as loans for commercial, industrial, residential mortgages and consumer parent businesses. For the convenience of customers and other consumers, the bank issues credit cards and develops ATM services by sharing ATMs on major ATM networks and in remote areas. The bank also provides online banking and online bill payment for all customers, whether retail or commercial. It also provides private banking and trust services to individuals or businesses through the Financial Guidance Group.
