Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation was incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1929 and operates in two divisions: Forging and Casting, including United Electric Steel Corporation (UES) and United Electric Steel UK Ltd (UES-UK). United Electric Steel Company is the world's largest manufacturer of forged hardened steel rollers, mainly for Pennsylvania and Indiana, while UES-UK produces cast iron and steel rollers in the United Kingdom. Gangkun is supplied to steel and aluminum producers around the world. Air and Liquid Handling Division, including all divisions of Air and Liquid Systems Corporation (the company's wholly-owned subsidiary) such as Aerofin, Buffalo Air Handling and Buffalo Pumps. The Aerofin division produces customized finned tube heat exchange coils and related heat transfer products for various industries including fossil fuels, nuclear power generation, automobiles, industrial production and HVAC. The Buffalo Pumps division manufactures centrifugal pumps for the defense, refrigeration and power generation industries. Headquartered in Pennsylvania, the division operates in Virginia and New York and distributes most of its products through a common independent group of sales offices throughout the United States and Canada.
