Albany International Corp., established under the laws of the State of Delaware, is the successor to the original company founded in New York in 1895. The original company merged with the current company in 1987 due to the change of company address. Albany International and its subsidiaries are engaged in three aspects of business activities. The company designs, manufactures and sells paper machine fabrics. Compared with other companies, the company produces and sells more paper machine fabrics worldwide. Paper machine fabrics are composed of large permeable and non-permeable continuous belts. The continuous belts are custom-produced engineered fabrics installed on the paper machine. In each process of paper production, the continuous belts play a role in transporting papermaking raw materials through.
