XTI Aerospace, Inc., was incorporated in Nevada in April 1999. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the company is developing a vertical take-off and landing (" VTOL ") aircraft that takes off and lands like a helicopter and cruises like a fixed-wing business jet. They believe that their initial configuration, the TriFan 600, will be one of the first civil fixed-wing vertical take-off and landing aircraft, which offers the speed and comfort of a business aircraft, as well as the range and versatility of vertical take-off and landing, for a wide range of customer applications, including private aviation for business and high net worth individuals, emergency medical services, commuting and regional air travel.
