After various name changes, the 20% share capital of Racal Telecom Plc was disclosed to the public in October 1988. The company was completely separated from Racal Electronics Plc and became an independent company in September 1991, later renamed Vodafone Group. The company relies on the continuous operation of the telecommunications network.
