The company was incorporated in August 1981 under the laws of the State of New York. The company's main investment objective is to obtain long-term capital appreciation through venture capital. Increasing current earnings is its second goal. The venture capital identified by the company is to invest funds and resources in small private enterprises and listed companies, and these enterprises must have good development potential. The company is a venture capital firm. Under the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Company is a business development company dedicated to investing in nanotechnology and microsystems product sales and integration companies. The company is an internally managed investment company. Under the overall supervision of the board of directors, the company's leadership and staff operate its business. H & H Investment Management Co., Ltd. (formerly Harris & Harris Enterprises Inc.). SM is a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
