Trustco Bank Corp NY is a deposit and loan holding company established in 1981 under the laws of the State of New York to purchase all outstanding shares of Trustco National Association Bank, formerly known as Schenectady Trust Company, later changed to Trustco Bank of New York. The Company's primary subsidiary, Trustco Bank (also known as Bank), was formed through a merger with Trustco National Association Bank. Trustco Bank is a federal savings bank that provides general banking services to individuals, partners and businesses. The largest part of this business consists of taking deposits, making loans and investing. The bank offers a variety of personal and corporate banking services. The bank is supervised and regulated by the Federal Currency Regulatory Agency and is a member of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Home Loan Banks Association of New York.
