TMC the metals company Inc. is a company incorporated on December 18, 2019 and incorporated in Columbia, Canada. The company is an explorer of low-impact battery metals in seabed polymetallic nodules, with a dual mission: 1. Provide metals with minimal environmental and social impacts for the clean energy transition; 2. A circular metal economy that accelerates the transition to clean energy. TMC, through its subsidiaries, holds exploration and commercial rights in three contract areas located in the internationally regulated Clarion Clipperton Zone in the Pacific Ocean, with approximately 1.6 billion tons of polymetallic nodules containing high grades of nickel, copper, cobalt and manganese. The Authority is sponsored by the governments of Nauru (NORI), Kiribati (Malawa) and the Kingdom of Tonga (TOML).
