Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc., founded in 1988, is a company headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Bancorp is a registered bank holding company and is overseen, regulated and inspected by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Bancorp has two subsidiaries — Stock Yards Bank & Trust (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) and S.Y. Bancorp Capital Trust II. The bank is a wholly owned state-chartered bank. Because Bancorp does not have its own business, its business and banking business are basically the same. The Bank's business is fully reflected in the Bancorp Trust's consolidated financial statements. The trust, a Delaware statutory trust, is a 100% equity financing subsidiary of Bancorp. Stock Yards Bank & Trust, a banking subsidiary of Bancorp, was licensed in 1904. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, the Bank provides commercial and personal banking services through 30 full-service banking offices in the metropolitan markets of Louisville, Kentucky, Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to traditional commercial and personal banking, the bank also provides a wide range of trust management, investment management, employee benefit plans and estate management, and financial planning services through the investment management and trust divisions.
