Smith-Midland Corporation was incorporated in Delaware on August 2, 1994. Through its six wholly-owned subsidiaries, the company invents, develops, manufactures, sells, leases and installs a range of precast concrete products, mainly in the construction, highway, utility and agricultural industries. The Company's prefabricated, licensed and obstacle rental customers are primarily general contractors and federal, state and local transportation departments located in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States. In addition, the company's prefabricated subsidiaries produce agricultural products such as cattle rails, water and feed troughs, as well as customized prefabricated concrete products with various building surfaces, as well as general highway sound barriers, retaining walls and utility vaults.
