PRA Group, Inc., was originally incorporated in Delaware on March 20, 1996. Their business focuses on detecting, collecting and processing unpaid and normal process receivables originally owed to credit grantors, governments, retailers and others. The company's primary business is purchasing, collecting and managing defaulted consumer receivables portfolios. These are unpaid obligations of individuals to credit originators, including banks, credit unions, consumer and auto finance companies, and retailers. The Company also provides fee-based services, including vehicle location, skip tracking and collateral recovery services to auto lenders, government and law enforcement through PRA Location Services, LLC (" PLS "), revenue management, auditing and debt discovery or recovery services to local government entities through PRA Government Services, LLC and MuniServices, LLC (collectively, "PGS "), And through the Claims and Compensation Bureau LLC to provide class action claims recovery services and related payment processing. In addition, with the acquisition of 100% equity interest in Mackenzie Hall Holdings, Limited and its subsidiaries (" PRA UK ") on January 16, 2012, the Company expanded the Company's contingent collection and purchase of defaulted consumer receivables business into the United Kingdom. The company believes that the strengths of the company's business are the company's sophisticated approach to portfolio pricing, segmentation and servicing, the company's emphasis on cultivating and retaining the company's collection staff, the company's complex processing systems and procedures, and the company's relationships with many of the largest consumer lenders in the United States.
