PrimeEnergy Resources Corporation is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of oil and natural gas. The Company currently has production and non-production properties primarily located in Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, the Gulf of Mexico, New Mexico, Colorado and Louisiana. All of the company's oil and gas assets and interests are located in the United States. Through its subsidiary main business companies-Southwest Oil and Gas Field Construction Company, Oriental Oil Well Services Company and EOWS Midland Company, the Company acts as an operator to provide comprehensive service support operations for many onshore oil and gas wells, in which the Company has the same interests as third parties. The Company owns and operates assets in the Gulf of Mexico through its affiliate, Prime Offshore LLC, formerly known as FW Petroleum Exploration LLC. The Company is also active in the acquisition of produced oil and gas properties through joint ventures with industry partners. PrimeEnergy was incorporated in March 1973 under the laws of the State of Delaware.
